Since I’m from Indianapolis this headline caught my attention. Why would anyone feel that Indianapolis is somehow keeping them down? That the “Man” of capitalism in this great city is exploiting them? Continue reading »
A offered a little (well maybe a lot) help to my friend’s 8 year old son for his pine wood derby. I call it the Yoshi Racer. You can guess he’s a pretty big Nintendo fan. He was totally hand carved. It’s like Mr. Miyagi said in the Karate Kid about bonsai trees “Think: Tree”. In this case – Think: Yoshi

We made our Saturday trek to Winter Park’s Farmer’s Market yesterday. It’s been a bit of a Saturday morning date routine for my wife and I in the past. Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to make it for a few months (see previous post on being busy). The prices are pretty good and you can’t beat the environment. Well I started out of the gate pretty good with this whole blogging thing, but it seems that different areas of my life are competing for the only constant variable I have – time. Since my incident with the punctured gas tank we took a 4 day mini-vacation camping at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, a two day trip to Columbia, SC for a wedding, and a day with a friend, his son, and Max to the IAAPA convention. The above link is from a news story I came across yesterday. It strikes me as odd that the “Advocates” for the deaf are somehow doing this in the name of fairness. Is there really a group of deaf Christians out there who can’t watch a TV sermon that are basically saying “if I can’t watch it then no one should”? What could possibly be the point of all this legal wrangling other than those hostile to the Christian faith hiding behind the FCC to force churches who are strapped for cash off the air?
